From the Arizona Republic:
Only open since July 2 The Three Sisters Bakery in Duncan has been a smashing success. More than a restaurant, it's where the community gathers. Folks stop by in the morning for meltingly sweet fresh doughnuts and warm cinnamon rolls.
Lunchtime brings a rush for from-scratch soups and heavenly pocket pies with fruit or meat fillings. Hot dogs are baked in homemade buns with a special sauce. The sisters range in age from the 60s to 80s. No wonder everyone in town hangs out here. Who wouldn't want to be fussed over in the cozy confines of a warm bakery by a trio of grandmothers in matching floral aprons?
